can you guys believe it? i mean in sec1, i thought that sec4 was such a faraway thing, it seemed something so, foreign, like it'd never come. but here we are, on our way to graduation. i wonder how we spent these 4 years. it's not a very short time, nor was it a very long time and this is probably sounding sad because im trying to do ss now haha :)

i remember in sec1, we were like, MUST PROVE THAT WE CAN KEEP THIS BLOG ALIVE! i was looking forward to seeing our class blog when im sec4 though it really seemed quite impossible. amazingly we still have people posting! :D just wanna say that IM SO PROUD OF US :D all the best for eyas, it's the last leg of the secondary school race already and enjoy your last day of lessons tomorrow :)

wowz i cant believe it we're going to be sec4! in sec1 we couldnt believe a year flew by so fast and we were going to sec2. and then came the upper sec year which we (i think) kind of all feared with the added responsibilities and all that and TA DAH. we are here. at sec 4. it's quite overwhelming eh. in primary school it seemed to take forever to get to p6 and right here in rgs it all seems to be on fast forward mode.

Anyway,

The Singapore Red Cross launched a public appeal which commenced on 29 September and will end on 30 October to raise funds for the survivors of the recent Philippine floods. Tropical Storm Ketsana is said to be one of the worst floods that the Philippines has seen in nearly four decades.

Currently the death toll is soaring at a high of 249, with rising figures of people whose homes in the capital and surrounding areas that have been inundated. Relief efforts and evacuation plans are currently being carried out to house nearly 380,000 people that have been displaced due to the cause of these massive flash floods.

The Singapore Government has contributed US $20,000 towards the SRC’s Philippines Tropical Storm appeal. The Singapore Red Cross will also be contributing US $10,000 to the Philippines National Red Cross (PNRC) for its immediate efforts.

The Singapore Red Cross Society has made an appeal to members of the public to make donations towards this cause. All donations made will be earmarked specifically for the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts for survivors of the Philippines Tropical Storm.

Yupp, everyone please help the victims! Pass your donations to your class chair/treasurer (: Alternatively you could come down to the canteen at 12pm+ tomorrow or on Wednesday and pass the money straight to us.

JUNE IS HERE!

well i guess it's not much of a holiday for us given the amount of work thrown at us. but still, smile, rejoice and be happy because it's still a holiday! (that means no lessons for 4 weeks!)

in about mid week 8 of term 2 i couldnt take school anymore. time was moving so slowly and weekends were the only thing worth looking forward to and during week 10 my mind was drifting off during lessons. BUT DUDE THE HOLIDAYS ARE FINALLY HERE! :D

like after a million years of suffering in school, the whole 5-hours-of-sleep-is-already-alot thing, the how-i-wish-i-could-camp-in-school-tonight-since-there's-no-point-going-home thing, the when-is-recess-i-am-starved thing, the yay-today-is-the-sacred-day-without-math thing and not to forget the oh-shucks-i-didnt-bring-my-thermometer thing are gonna give us a break for 4 weeks!!! :D

dont drown yourselves in the pts and whatever else youre doing (which is probably a lot). hey, at least you get to sleep in :)

A whole year has passed! Ain't that cool? But no matter what, 101 will never be passe will it? Hope everyone had a great 2008 with your sec 2 classes. And if you had even MORE fun than you did in 101, well then good for you!

Is anyone interested in a class gathering? Unfortunately (or fortunately), I will be in Taiwan till December 7th (exactly one month from now) and then on December 15th I will take off again for Malaysia! Hello my darlings you guys haven't updated for almost a week! Not that I update my blog that often either.
Anyways you guys have all received that wunderful email our level coord ALANNA KWONG AL MO sent us right? And so you guys know there's sports fest next month RIGHT? Right. So I think it would be fantabulous if we could all sit together and CHEER till we get sore throats just like we did last year, then we can all go for house dinner TOGETHER!!
