Hello 101ians! For those of you who haven't heard, PANGEA DAY is coming! It's on monday which is great cause it's a holiday, so I strongly encourage you guys to go. It'll be meaningful, and FUN! See the message from my senior's RJC friend below:
Pangea Day is a global day of film that aims to provide viewers to see through the eyes of the other. In a world torn by conflict and opposing views, the creators of Pangea Day have thought it to be immensely important that people should understand the worldview of others, and that film would be the best medium to achieve this objective. On May 11 at 0200hrs SGT, official Pangea Day sites in Cairo, Kigali, Los Angeles, mumbai, Rio de Janeiro, and london will be connected through a 4-hour live simulcast featuring a program of powerful films, visionary speakers and uplifting music.
RJC will be hosting a screening of Pangea Day on May 12th, Monday as well! So come on down after your exams to relax and just enjoy award winning films and listen to the stories told by people around the world!
Venue: Hodge Lodge Time: 2-6pm! Come on down to RJC's very own student's lounge and enjoy the movie in our mini theatre! Promised to be a comfortable and relaxing experience =)
Venue: Canteen Time: 315-715pm! Enjoy a refreshing drink as you watch the movies in our canteen! Enjoy the films in the company of friends!
Venue: Amphitheatre Time: 315-715pm! Sit with groups of friends in the amphitheatre, you can even play a game of Monopoly or other board games while watching the movies!
This screening will definitely be an eye-opener, so come on down after your exams and just...chill out!
Forward this email out to all your friends! Spread the news about Pangea!
